Starfield photo mode explained

Does Starfield have photo mode? Photo Mode was briefly revealed towards the end of the Starfield Direct broadcast on June 11, and from the very small snippet, we can see most of what you can expect from the mode when it launches on day one.

Starfield is set to be one of the biggest games this year, and you’re here, so you must be one of the many eager to drop into your first interplanetary adventure on the Starfield release date. We already know that the planets, plants, and creatures look magnificent in the space game, so of course we want to capture every breathtaking moment on camera. Luckily, you can do just that with Starfield photo mode, so here’s how it works and what you do with it.

It was confirmed that Starfield will have photo mode in the Starfield Direct broadcast on June 11. Features will include brightness adjustments, filters, helmet toggle, and even character poses.

You can also choose to get rid of your character model altogether if you’re more a fan of landscape photography than selfies. In the image above, revealed in the recent Starfield Direct broadcast, you can see some of these features coming to Starfield mode – it’s pretty extensive, and reminiscent of the photo mode in other games like the Resident Evil 4 remake.

You can see more of the photo mode in the video below, which should start right as the mode is mentioned. If you’ve got the time though and haven’t seen it yet, we highly recommend checking out the rest of the stream to really get you excited for everything that’s coming on release day.
